Hi guys need some info
I have an external screen connected via USB C - USB C to my Samsung S21Ultra.
Is there a way to make the screen full screen and not just the size of the phone screen on the external screen?
Surely there is a way to have it full screen?

Thanks

Have you tried DeX mode? I think that works independently from the phone orientation
I got an old Note 8 with the DeX station and that works to get full screen on my TV. Im not sure if its the same with the newer phones

I haven't had a samsung in donkey years but think there was something like Smart View and the Full Screen and then can cast the phone to the TV or display. Or maybe this was just to a compatible samsung tv

Activate DeX Labs: DeX Labs offers access to “experimental” features that aren’t officially supported. Two current features include allowing DeX to force-resize apps and auto-open the last used app. To activate these features, click the App tray icon in the bottom right of your screen, open DeX Labs and toggle the features on. Now, when you open an app that isn’t DeX-optimized, you’ll be able to view it in a larger window or fully maximized. Opting to auto-open the last used app makes using DeX even more seamless, giving you more continuity between your mobile device and DeX.

Should be an icon that looks like lab jar from what I remember.

Try Dexmax, it adds a few enhancements including full screen apps. I used it to watch netflix from my phone to my TV & it worked pretty well

Checked: settings, advance, labs

On adroid 12, might have changed. It use to be an icon in the tray on the left.
