Hi

I've plugged my blackberry into my macbook pro and under Network preferences for the Blackberry modem connection I have the following
- Telephone number : *99#
- Account name: <blank>
- Password: <blank>

Advanced Settings -> Modem
- Vendor: Research In Motion
- Model: BlackBerry IP Modem (GSM)
- APN: internet
- CID: 1

All other settings are default. When it dials it connects for about 5 seconds, the IP address never gets populated and then it just disconnects.

Has anyone managed to get their BB setup as a modem on a Mac? Are my settings correct?

I've just managed to get it working. I changed the dial up number from *99# to *99***1# and the APN name from "internet" to "Internet" - not sure if the latter made any difference but it's all working fine now
