Using hotspots??

Anyone managed to get this working??
trust me there will be times that u are in an airport and 3G/Gprs is either not supported or non exisitant ......just asking....im at jhb int and cant seem to pick their wirless lan.............any ideas??

Airport Wireless works great, but it won't work with the Vodafone data card. If I'm not mistaken the data card is just that - a data card and not wireless LAN card, so the LAN will only work with a WiFi card/chip. I used the LAN yesterday at JIA, because I keep having these disconnects with 3G - anyone else experiencing this? and it worked fine there for me... The 3G/GPRS also works very well there too...
