I want to use my HTC Tytn 2 for controlling my desktop PC. I just got the phone recently and don't know much abouting using it yet. Any help will be appreciated. Any suggestions on other useful software I can download, and where I can download from?

Please start by clarifying what you mean by "controlling". Kinda like a remote control for playing videos, or maybe like a ssh interface or what?

Where can I get desktop remote from? When I say control, I mean to move the mouse, keyboard, etc. So that I can play the movies, music, etc. from my PC while lying in my bed.

MyMobiler is indeed the opposite of what was being asked for, but at the same time it is an awesome little app.

What you're looking for is the remote desktop client for Windows Mobile, BUT in order to enable your desktop PC to accept incoming remote desktop connections, it has to be running XP Pro or MCE, or Vista Business/Enterprise/Ultimate. You will also need some form of network connectivity between the TyTN and the PC, ideally wireless. If you don't have a wireless LAN at home, you could always get a USB dongle to provide WLAN support for the desktop, and configure an ad-hoc WLAN between the PC and the phone.

There a lot of "ifs" and "buts" in there, but I have used this and it works well enough. :-)

Oh, the link for the remote desktop client is: http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6700-xv6700/84897-wm6_rdp-mobile-remote-desktop-client.html
