Using Netgear DG834GT to set up network.

Hi,

I need some help from the hardware guru's out there. I want to connect 2 computers on a netword using the router. I am able to get the XP pc to pick up the Vista pc, but nothing I try can get the Vista to see the XP pc. The problem is that I bought the new pc, and want to trash the old one, but I have about 10gb worth of WoW patches that I dont want to download again. I guess I could back it up to disc, but want to try setting up the network instead.

Make sure the XP machine is configured with the workgroup "WORKGROUP" and that the firewall is disabled. Also enable sharing of the C drive on the XP machine.
