Using other modems with Iburst

Don't know if this has been asked before, however is it possible to use modems other than Iburst branded modems on their network and if so which ones can one use.

Sorry, none that I know of.

The devices have an iBurst chip in which is propriotaryand part of the uniqueness is the fact that it uses the UT identification number for one security measure checks.
