Anyone has suggestions on how to do a airtime transfer on a US WindowsPhone that doesn't support *120# etc. in South Africa?

I think its just some issue / feature excluded from WP. Used two different Lumia 610s (both local) and neither worked :(

The Windows Phone 7/7.5/7.8 did not permit USSD commands by default, only from Windows Phone 8 OS was USSD possible. The only USSD Commands that worked on WP 7 was the full string eg. *111*502# etc.

Its an HTC HD7 with Windows 7.8 and I tried the full command but it failed (unless the command is wrong).

Thanks NullRef. I will try it out.

My Lumia 820 didn't support USSD codes till I got the Lumia Black update, so I doubt you'll get it on 7.8 unless there's an update in the near future

Use emDial.

I had a Lumia 610, no USSD code function built-in. emDial worked flawlessly.

Download it from the store.
