USN vs Myprotein

What is your favorite?

I tried out myprotein but they did not inform me of customs duties so the price is not the best.

Usn on the other hand always throw in samples and is slightly cheaper.

Any other recommendations?

I mainly purchase creatine, bcaa, and glutamine.
 
IMO don't waste your time with these companies- rather spend the money on products from companies like Muscle Tech/Optimum Nutrition- yes they're far more expensive but they work.

I don't trust any of the local stuff out there.
 
MyProtein for their Whey protein. If you buy in bulk and manage to land a special it's way cheaper.

Your best economic order quantity is increments of 10kg. Anything more and they ship in more than one package which effectively doubles your customs duties.

I effectively paid R785 for 5kgs. It's R699 for Nutritech's 3.2kg of whey. For the same weight that's effectively R1092 which is R307 or 39% more expensive.

Not to mention MyProtein rates the highest on labdoor and comes in a variety of interesting flavours.

If you're just buying creatine, bcaa, and glutamine though, just stick to local brands.

AFAIK, there is sucralose in it to make it sweeter, but then all the protein powders have additives to enhance the flavour. It scores very high on labdoor, feel free to check it out.

But yeah, Nutritech is a winner if you're buying locally. All my other stuff I get from them.
 
Evox Synergy worked well for me back in the day... USN is rubbish. For some reason I have super awesome farts when I use USN, about the best thing I can say about it really...
 
USN is probably the worst tasting protein out there
 
I quite like USN, quality is fine and the new flavours are great

I used ON for about 8 years and swore by using international brands only.. anyway I've noticed no difference other than savings
 
I just picked up my 10kg of Myprotein, had to pay in an additional R480 so the total was R1880, or R188 per kg.

Nutritech works out to about R220 per kg so its not that much more and you can get it immediately.

I dont know which is better between myprotein and nutritech but I think after the 10kg I might look at nutritech.
