Hi,
Pls can anyone tell me how or what to do... even provide a link to the software if possible. I have a E3533 modem that uses a browser interface. I used to have Mobile Partner modems where I can use USSD etc function. However this one seems to work completely different. It uses a browser to open the connect / disconnect pages etc.. I can receive sms'es etc, bit there is no USSD function and no Call Function like Mobile Partner.

Is there a way that I can enable this or a way to flash the modem so that is still works but will have the Mobile Partner dashboard ets??? If so pls assist me.
Here are some of the details of the modem:
Device: E3533
Hardware Version: CH1E3533SM
Software Version:22.318.27.00.1232
Web UI Version:15.100.10.00.03

Yuu, I tried MDMA and unfortunately it does not work. I decided to keep that modem as a spare, So now I switched to the Mobile Partner dashboard modem but it does not want to connect to the internet. It gives a message "Device currently in use or incorectly setup" .. I tried everything and EVEN FORMATTED my pc... still same issue. I followed these tips also and nothing works... https://appuals.com/fix-error-633-modem-or-other-connecting-device-is-already-in-use/
Not sure if Im allowed to refer to another site here, but I tried everything. I also noticed I was previously able to select between RAS3 and NDIS in the dashboards but now I cant... any suggestions that would work pls. I formatted, did various stuff and still can't connect to the net...

You can try using a program like putty to send AT commands to the modem.
For example I use AT+CUSD=1,"*101#",15 to check my balance on CellC.
Switching to NDIS for example on my ZTE modem can be achieved through holding buttons a certain way or entering a string after the web address to change modes.
You can also change the mode through AT commands on ZTE so I'm guessing it should be similar with Huawei.

Got it... worked perfectly. Was a bit difficult to understand everything as a layman, but with some perseverance it all worked . Thanx Krieg

Try looking in control panel/device manager for your modem and take note of the port number, there might be more than one. Open putty and select serial connection and enter the port number and speed 115200. If you get a black screen type AT and press enter if you get a response you got the right port and you can continue to do telnet through the AT terminal.
