I am trying to adhoc unreal tournament 2004 with a friend, both running win10 machines via wireless network adapters.
So far the only game i could get to work well is the Command and Conquer games which is great.
Before i go ahead, i admit i am not the Lan expert, in fact, i will need all the help i can get :wtf:

With my adhoc connection active and my friends pc connected to mine, we play cnc just perfect.

Please can someone help me step by step to get UT2004 running ?

I went into UT 2004 (i have the GOG version)

I create a new listen server, but when my friend enters the game he is not there.
So i tried to create a dedicated server.

The command prompt box keeps on saying Master server connection failed at the bottom after many other commands seemed to run successful.

Can anyone please tell me what next steps i should take ?

The site regularly gives me disconnecting errors, is anyone here able to help ?

If you're hosting the listen server, let him try connect to your game via the console ("~" button, next to 1 on your keyboard). With the console open, type open <substitute this with the relevant IP address> and hit enter.

For example "open 192.168.10.1" (without quotes).
