UUnet / webAfrica uncapped

I want to know if you can share a UUnet uncapped account between 8 friends? I heard somewhere that one account is limited to 512k and not the number of sessions logged in. That would be great because we all just want an account we can browse the internet with after our telkom account gets capped.

Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks!

1 User can login at 1 time on 1 ADSL modem/router with UUNET. Tried and tested by myself and a friend. It also seems to bind to the exchange you're using for about 30 minutes - or something else was wrong, but 30 minutes after I disconnected, only then could he connect.

dissapointing :/ anyone else have a story to share?

Yeah I recall when UUNET were testing they had "realms" where you paid ~R200 for the realm and ~R560 for the actual 512k account. Each realm had something like 10 logins so 10 people could share the 512k. What happened to this?

It still works like that.. The Reseller ie. webafrica buys a realm and the accounts they resell is attached to the realm. This way webafrica can easily assign new accounts.

Think of it as an admin interface that you pay extra for.

Interesting. The very first test account I had was like that...

But since then when I had a normal account it could log in multiple times on 1 line, but also on more than 1 line at the same time. I have used it once like this for a week. But now I am back to 1 line.

Ok since I have been with webafrica, I can login to the account multiple times on my own line, havent tried it on another line yet, as I didnt need to.

But before them, I was with another reseller and I could log in on 2 different lines. Now the 2 lines was not on the same exchange, but was on the same ADSL-POP... (I already see how many people gonna tell me POP's only exist with dialup and not with adsl...)
