I know about the latency bar, mine is usually green for 10 seconds or so, always live in hope. How do u check the packet loss? Also find that sometimes when a bucket load of Horde raid I get kicked out the game

Latency is the responsiveness of the game, eg. It is the time it takes for you to sell something and receiving your cash. Or the time it takes from hitting the spell button to actually casting the spell. Luckily for Massive Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG), latency is not that essential because its not about lightning reflexes (Quake 3/ UT2004).

I've never been sheeped before, since I've never been part of a raid. The only thing that I know of that needs a good response would be fishing. fishing can be frustrating on shaped ADSL.
Last night I was getting really bad lag (caused by packet loss), yet my friend on ISDN was fine. But it was nothing in comparison to UUNET where a ping to google.com was 300-400, but the game was almost unplayable and very frustrating.
If bob's service can provide fast (250ms-450ms), reliable (no packet loss) and stable (no spiking) pings to WoW, I'd be very interested!
Agh - your wasting your breath (or fingertips?) - as they say ignorance is bliss and he does seem very very happy.Clipse said:Killadoob - Go play on ur AYCE so I can laugh at you, you will get specially during the day 5000ms+ ingame with international games.
