Hi all. I am thinking of trying my hand at UV photography to capture fluorescence. From what I understand, I would need the following:

1. A UV light source (e.g. scorpion torch)
2. A UV pass filter that lets through UV light but not visible light to account for the light source not being 100% UV only
3. A UV protection filter for my camera lens to make sure the camera only captures visible light (i.e. the fluorescence).

Finding 1 and 3 is simple enough but 2 seems to be difficult to source in SA. On Amazon you can get things like this (https://www.amazon.com/UNTERING-Ultraviolet-Flashlight-Diameter-Thickness/dp/B08KW5WTMQ). Anybody know of where I could find something similar in SA? Do I even really need one?

What kind of camera? Some (most/all?) DSLRs, for example, have a filter on the sensor that has to be removed and replaced with one that is designed to let specific wavelengths through.

I have a Nikon D750. The thing is I don't want to shoot the UV light itself, just the fluorescence of things. So the camera would capture the visible spectrum light like normal. My issue is trying to make sure the light absorbed by the subjects is 100% (or as close to 100% as I can get it) UV
