I see, that does sound easier but I gave up on torrents a long time ago. Years ago I tried and the speeds I could get were shocking. I tried RS premium and never looked back. Last night for eg. I downloaded a 675MB file in a few seconds short of 31 minutes.
I haven't bothered keeping informed at how torrents may have become faster over the years, but I'm happy with my current setup, it works well for me - I don't need any system tweaking, it just works, and works fast. We can be sitting at home on a week night and want to watch a movie...35 minutes later we start watching our choice.

Sounds interesting though, I'm sure others coming across this thread will find benefit from the info.
 
Season 2 started a couple nights ago. Got the episode, will watch later when I get home.

Wow...I didn't know there were still downloaders using RS with the points system, time limits and bandwidth limits.
Have a look at Hotfile...once off payment...no limits, no restrictions. Nothing is unavailable from Hotfile that may be available on other premium hosting sites. I get full 1MB/s download speeds from Hotfile too.

+1 Hotfile and Megaupload. Total of R160 per month for both. What sites do you use (links)?
 
I bought a Rapidshare Premium account a few years back and it has been excellent! I can download multiple, resumable links with no waiting nonsense. I download not more than 35Gb a month so I have no limitations problems. Torrents are good for me if I can't find it on Rapidshare.
 
I started watching Season 1 on Tuesday night and finished it on Thursday night. Didn't get much sleep, but it was worth it. What an excellent show.

This show is absolute rubbish compare to the original (at its time).

The acting is pathetic. Who the hell communicates with a ****ing marble FFS!
 
i had high hopes for season 2 but its clear that the writers for this show are retards, the soul? really? TALK ABOUT CHEESE, the characters are also just not believable, the worst is the son tyler, behaving like a helpless sissy girl all the time.... rather pathetic.

Aliens, maybe? Marbles could be better than Telkom. Unless you lose your marbles and have to contact the "V" helpdesk. Hundreds of big shiny needles, no thanks.
 
never realised we had so many writers among us, do me a favour, and come up with a better plot...and do remember the aim of the show is to create a new generation of followers, so nothing about , the original one was better....sure when tin foil and fire extinguisher where the props of choice. if you prefer the original, download it and emerges yourself with yesterdays .... i am sure, there are some negatives, that said the same about the reimaginated battlestar galactica - net result was the remake of classic, that brought an old generation, together with a new generation of followers...iesh wena!!
