V360v as modem to Laptop

Hi all

need some help, I have installed the above cell on my laptop and need to ceate a dialup connection to use it as a modem.

Does anyone know what the user id, pswd and dial up number is for vodacom?

Also will the prepaid data bundles apply?

Can't really afford 3G modem at this point.

in the extra settings command line you can put the following.

at+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet"

and yes prepaid will work. R189 for 500 mb
if you get edge on your phone please tell me know as i cannot get edge on the v360v. you should get at least 140kbps on a speed test.

what option should I use get this screen for "extra settings" or is this on P2Ktools?

Isn't it a 3G phone. The v360 is the edge version. I know someone that has one and it's 3G or is that a different v360v.

the motorola v360v is only edge. the v is for vlive.
i have a v360v and to date could not get edge in pe. the phone was send to motorola but no luck. it is back now and they have it for 3 weeks now and still nothing.

Tried these settings when I attempted to setup my phone as a modem some time back and got error, something about hardware failure when I tried to use it. These were the instructions I got on the vodacom4me website. Had to change the settings somewhat to get my phone to work as modem.
I have a Sony Ericsson K800i.
