Vacancy: Senior Technology Services Consultant

A company and people performance improvement agency based in Melrose Arch is currently recruiting an young, dynamic Senior Technology Services Consultant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support from a user to an infrastructure level, when the intermediate consultants escalate to him/her. This position would be suitable to a candidate who has a mentor type personality, who is driven and has an extremely high productivity level.

Support Services

• Providing end-user (2nd – 3rd level) assistance and advice through the Junior Consultants;
• Providing server, connectivity, prioritisation of services, configuration of systems policies and enforcement thereof;
• Identification of services-abuse and escalation thereof;
• Pre-emptive maintenance and the scheduling, designing and monitoring thereof;

Provide server and application administration on the following systems:

• AccpacERP
• AccpacCRM
• SQLServer2005and2008
• MSExchange2010
• ActiveDirectory,DNS,DHCP and replication services
• Double Take sync configuration and monitoring
• Backup facility coordination and monitoring
• Firewall prioritisation (rules, user-mapping; trend-analysis and connectivity design)
• Siemens PABX, OSO Server, TMS system management, Mimecast Administration
• Symantec DLO and Netbackup
• SharePoint 2013

Administration

• Active Directory, TMS, Backups (BackupExec & NetBackup), Procurement procedures,vendor management,infrastructure maintenance

Project

• Projects are technology related and cover the full spectrum of ICT and Infrastructure related

Applicants must be a VmWare Certified Professional with an active/valid certification. (NON NEGOTIABLE)
MCITP 2008 or MCSE 2012
ITIL V3 Certified
Sharepoint Certified (Ideal)
