Post the things in your city here that people can for valentines.

Blanket on balcony, candles, awesome dinner...and a lot of wine!

Considering it is a Tuesday night, not sure it's worth going to a fancy but crowded restaurant.

YOH! 700 cash rondts.... that is some seriously expensive foreplay! :p

:D

But imagine how fuzzy she is going to feel when you tell her its for an animal rescue... More nookie points :D :D

I'm gonna be doing the same thing I do every Valentines day: Sit at home by myself and cry into some expensive scotch :p

I actually am considering it since it's up the road.... but now that you put it that way ...

I was looking at the catz r us thing yesterday. I'd love to go but it doesn't really work for us on a week night since we both live and work in different areas and 7pm my bf is still at work usually

We don't really celebrate Valentines but a nice dinner and some wine is always welcome, its better to be at home than go out to a restaurant that is over crowded with couples trying to impress each other and causing the waiters more stress which in turn makes the service crap.

What a waste of money...
If one can afford it, every Friday/Special Occasion should be a valentines day- don't buy into this whole marketing cr@p

And if you do not see your loved one every day? Say you work away from home for 6 - 10 weeks at a time? Surely she would love something extra special to remind her how special she is?

Does that only have to be on Valentines day or can it be any day you come back from work after being gone a couple of weeks? If it can be any time then he has a point

For sure but since the original post was posted by a lady, I think the ladies should have a say as to whether they want a bit of a special night out other than the regular Friday night special.

Complains about being a waste of money, then tells you to spend that money every week.

The iron-knee is laughable.

Because some men needs to have days like Valentines and anniversaries or else they would sit in front of the TV and watch sport every night.

You do not buy into it. Good For you.

Some people like to do something special for their other half on that day, specialy girls. It is the one day you can take your man our on a date and spend some money on him.

Just a thought.

This is for a charity that I work with.
