Hey guys!
Okay, so all of a sudden my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 tells me that my copy of is not genuine (which it is), and that I have to genuine-validate it. It does not want to pass this validation. I have the correct product ID and there's no spyware/malware that could have affected this.

What to do, what to do?

Thanks in advance!

Regards

MS wants you to go buy a new copy ;)

Just call MS Tech support and see what they say.

There's a MS patch, KB971033 if I remember correctly that breaks windows cracks.

You should have the genuine DVD with the hologram as well as the sticker, maybe you got a counterfeit one

Its not a big deal try re enter the key when it fails it will jump to a screen with a phone number and a load of numbers at the botton

Call the number and do the automated process when that fails it will go to an operator and she will activate it again no issue

Yep... that's the one. Causing massive headaches for genuine and non-genuine users alike! :D

Way to go MS... The real pirates knew what to look for and never installed that update though! :p
