So I decided to go with Telkom Internet. Been a great experience thus far. :) Up until today. lol

Upgraded from 1mb uncapped bundle to 2mb and then to 4mb in one week.

I get my June bill and they are double charging me for 2mb. I am well aware your Telkom bill is for the coming month or shall I say one month ahead but double charging is something new to me. I phoned billing only to hear that this is correct, as "Upgrading" is the same as acquiring a new service, thus they double charge you the first month. Therefor I am now paying double 2mb this month and next month I will be paying double 4mb. :(

Valuable and expensive lesson learnt. Thought I would just warn everyone who is deciding to jump to Telkom.

:D

Thanks for the heads up WackyZA, I am planning to upgrade from 2MB to 4MB and I would have been hit with a fat double bill too ::ThumberUP::

I was also "caught out"
I was for some reason put on 1Mbps instead of 4Mbps when I moved to uncapped.
I never ever ever mentioned 1mbps as line speed nor as an uncapped package I wanted, yet was doubled charged when I asked them to rectify it.

OP really caught it bad.
