Value for money wordpress developer and maintenence needed

Hi all,

I need a value for money developer/development house that will do a word press site. Load a nice theme and look after the back end, load security updates etc. I already have the layout/graphics etc. I need the site to be migrated from MS to Wordpress.

Typically what am I looking at?
Once off setup and then a monthly fee to host and maintain site (aka security patches).

depending on what you need to be custom developed (plugins) this can quickly run into the region of 20k

if it's just cutting up a design and implementing in wordpress, much cheaper. however "value for money" is hard to determine as it might sound like you're looking for someone cheap to do it. You get what you pay for in the end.

Totally agree. Trying to keep it as simple as possible, but if they want to mess around a lot with the back end it can get messy! I have no clue what the budget is, just thought I'd give some up and coming talent a chance. As soon as I get more info on what the specs is I'll PM you guys.

Got some quotes from the guys on the forum. Rates seem to be VERY COMPETITIVE. Thanks for all who responded, having a meeting tonight to see what they are willing to spend etc.
