VAS pre-requisite change

So I just got a call from a iBurst representative informing me that the VAS conditions have changed, you can now only apply for VAS from Playa5 and above packages not Basic 2.

Are you guys aware of this?, and I’m now informed that I can either stay on Basic 2 without VAS or have to move to Playa 5.
 
I also got the same call one hour ago.Before I can confirm my decision the phone disconnected.....and no one calling me back.
 
Looking at my current and suppose new package i will be looking at a R50 increase between the Basic 2 and Playa 5, pushing my monthly payment to R350, with my data increase from 2Gig to 5Gig anytime.

I might be taking it, as i cannot do without my VAS.
 
I changed to playa5 +128k vas this morning.R400/m in total.
 
Iburst call center is the worst, i can never get hold of someone who can help/knows what i'm talking about, got transferred three times, the last department 'Retention' did not even answer, gave up after waiting close to 15 minutes, totaling my call length to 32 minutes, i would be surprised if you have SLA's and KPI's for your call centre at this rate.

Anyway woke up today, could not surf the net, it appears i have used up all my data, how so when i have been doing my downloads at night, response i got was that my VAS was removed, when, by who no one knows, only that now i'm on Basic 2.

How does iBurst operate, correct me if i'm wrong, but does the prepayment/advance not guarantee one a months notice before such changes are made to my account, after all the coming month was already deducted, anyway will try to call them again to sort out this mess.

xln, R400 is too much for me, if thats the case i would have to start looking for alternatives or going without VAS
