Hi Guys.

I'm in a little fix at the moment :(
I got an invitation on my lock to one of the new top progression guilds on our server (RAW). Now if I accept this it means raiding 3 nights a week (25 mans) and weekends (10 mans).

I was thinking about this last night and would still like to do the level 60 raids on LB but currently that will not be possible as I will have no time to level.

I would like to know what you guys think.

I can let you guys decide who you want to be the GM and I'll give the guild to that person and I'll just be a normal member. I will raid with you guys but being online much is going to be an impossible task.

I don't want to drop you guys so pls let me know.

Is this guild of yours not consisting out of alts (reroled peeps) anyway? It may survive as a casual guild, but my feeling is that if the leader leaves the guild will crumble and the others will also retreat to their usual gaming.

And there will always be another progression guild with a spot open ;) question is do you really want to trade the social aspect of the game for full out raiding?

I am super happy playing my new toon.
If you decide to go raid, then i wish you good luck. If you decide to stay that would be awsome.
Currently there are about 5-4 of us that are have a great time lvling up together.
I am keen to keep the guild together for the social aspect of it..

Even if the guild just stays a very social guild. You guys on there are awesome I don't want it to break up if I decide to raid rather.

I have been in what I would call a "casual raiding guild" for over 2 years now. I leveled with them from lvl40 or so. We all hit lvl 60 about a month before TBC. UBRS became our regular raid. We did ZG a few times. With TBC, and when we hit lvl70, our raiding took on a more serious nature. I think this merely because there is not much more to do. There is pvp and dailies. Beyond that there is only raiding. We never meant to be raiding guild. Trouble is, we starting clearing Kara. Gruul, Maggy. 1 boss down in TK. 2 bossess down in TK. 3 bosses down in SSC. All of this at our own casual pace. Suddenly we started attracting people because of our raid success, which was modest. They got geared up in kara. Got some T5. Then left for the hardcore raiding guild they previously couldnt get in. We had become the guild which gears people up so that they can apply for a hardcore raiding guild. During this period we lost a lot of casual players who got peeved that we had become to hardcore. We also lost players because we wherent hardcore enough. For awhile this was a concern. people got stressed. But then you stop and think about it. It isnt really our fault we arent hardcore enough. Thats not what we want. So we just took the /gquit's in our stride and settled down to 1 or 2 raids in the 2 week. 1 or 2 over the weekend. With WotLK, our previous casual players came back. The other day we lost one of our best dps. Mage who was always top of the dmg. Next day we went into Naxx and still cleared 3 quarters before our MT ran out of beer and we decided to stop :)

We also had a dude say that unfortunatly due to work he has to stop playing. We told not to leave the guild. When he can play he is welcome. We wont kick him. Thats the way I like it. We are casual. we still raid. We are also a social guild. Dont take it personally if someone wants to leave to raid more hardcore. Wish them all the best. Welcome them back when they want to chill out for a few months :)

We basically raid Naxx with whoever is available. We just make sure we have at least 2 healers and 2 tanks. So what if we have 2 affliction locks??. No CC. We AoE everything anyway :) We struggled on Gluth with the adds cause we didnt have some suitable to kite the adds. We just tried a few options and we downed after a few wipes. Thats how we do it. Casual :)

We also rotate our GM every 2 weeks around the officers. Being doing this since the guild formed 2 months before TBC. Our orginal GM has been afk for 3 months. Raising a younger version of himself :)

Hi Guys

Sorry for the new thread but the other one got side tracked to much :p.

Our Alliance guild is in need of some classes to make the journey with us through Classic content.

We are full on Duids.

We would love people wanting to re-roll the following classed to join us:

. Locks
. Shamans
. Warriors
. Mages
. Priests

We will have more than enough healers currently as we have a whole stock load of druids. I think 6 in total.

We currently have 19 active accounts in the guild and need more of the above classes.

This EU or US?

I think I'm going to move my Mage here...I can't stand PvP realms...it annoys me endlessly...

I don't want to PvP, never been in a Arena and only do BG's if I'm REALLY bored...

Hi Guys

Just a note that Gumpie aka Shalaa is now the new Vasbyt GM. I wish him and the guild all the best for the future :) I will log in from time to time just to have a chat and play my druid a bit :p

Good luck to you all
