VDSL - Self-install option?

I see this as a very bad move... the number of sites that can offer 20Mbps ADSL is very limited and this is going to create an expectation that cannot be fulfilled.

Times when we can expect something from Telkom a long gone, don't think any one on this forum has any expectations to be fulfilled

Still trying to get my VDSL right with them, it's been now for 2-3 weeks. What expectations?!?

After no connectivity for a week, with no-one able to tell my what is going on, I cancelled my upgrade order and went back to ADSL. It got fixed after another fault report.

I might try again in the future, but only after someone from Telkom can confirm that I'm able to get VDSL.
