vdsl sync but not with any isp

Hope anyone can assist or maybe you've had a similar experience.


Recently upgraded our ADSL to VDSL (by recent i mean February)

Line synchronizes, shows sync but cannot connect to any ISP. I'v tried Afrihost & Axxess. It just does not connect.

Afrihost say its a Telkom line issue (something to do with modulation or similar)

Modem is a Tp-link TD-W9977 (also tried a billion vdsl router which used to work on another VDSL line) its just this particular line refuses to connect to any isp.

Is the VLAn ID correct?

It should be 835

turns out it was a Telkom exchange issue, something to do with the port allocation. Finally sorted out (after nearly 3 months of downtime)
