VDSL unit advice

Hey guys,

Just upgraded to VDSL 40mb, should take 72 hours according to Telkom. They offered the VEVG2660 VDSL Router for around R1250, but since I already have an Asus RT-N66U router connected to a D-link modem, I just need to replace the D-link unit. Can anyone advise if the VEVG2660 is the way to go, or are there better and cheaper options in my case? Thanks all

It's a great modem, but a bad access point/router. Put it in bridge mode and rather get a MikroTik router with AC access point.

cheers thats exactly what i've done, bridged to my Asus RT-N66U router
