Hi Guys, looking for a good piece of software that can convert a picture into a Vector file.

Any ideas?

Thx

Adobe illustrator is pretty good with this, but obviously the more complex your image is the more your results will have to be tweaked.

Inkscape can work well for simpler things if you're looking for something free.

Corel Draw's POWER Trace feature.
Depends on source image.
I use a combination of Corel Draw and InkScape. Sometimes things that don't work in the one, work in the other.

Your best bet would be to manually trace it....the auto-trace options work for simple shapes but I have even seen it turn a circle into a not so much a round circle anymore :)

Using Corel or Ai for the manual way is perfect..let me know if you need help...I'm a graphic designer :)

All of the programs require some form of manual input though.
You can't just expect it to convert everything into a perfectly traced line.
