I believe that it's much more healthier to be a vegetarian.
By eliminating meat and all dairy products from their diet, how do they manage to stay healthy?
It will be very interesting to also hear from true vegetarians why they would recommend such a lifestyle.

Sure.. go ahead.. starve the poor cows to death..

okay time for a lame joke

Yamauta: I yelled at a vegetarian once because he was drinking wine. I said, "Wine is made of grapes, which is a fruit. Beer is made of barley and hops, which are vegetables. You fail as a vegetarian."
Yamauta: of course... I was pretty far gone at that point.
Yamauta: but I still pwned his vegetable eating ass.

not sure about the healthy part - I have a colleague who is a strict vegetarian. She has brittle bones as a result.
Not sure if this applies to all vegetarians.

Only if you have a vitamin B deficiency.

I was vegetarian for 9 years. I did eat and drink dairy products though. After a fair amount of nagging (from my Mom and wife) I went to my doctor and to a dietitian. Both agreed I was perfectly healthy (physically at least) and that as long as it is balanced a vegetarian diet is fine. The dietitian said most vegetarians eat too much cheese and not enough legumes.

Then one day I started eating meat again. I don't see a dietitian anymore.

Calcium deficiency = brittle bones = militant vegetarian AKA vegan

Can't stand vegetarians. They destroy the planet's flora

Most vegetarians who eat correctly are the healthiest and fittest people by far.
Those people avoid stuffing their faces with cheese and bread.
If you haven't tried brilliant vegetarian food. You can for free at any Hare Krishna Temple (It's called Prasadam)
They make the bland extraordinary.

Not a good idea in my opinion. Heard about a story a while ago, couple in New York were vegans, they had a baby and fed it all that soy milk and other **** and the child died.

That tells you, if a child can't survive on it, humans aren't meant to eat it.

We're not rabbits or birds... Give me some red meat goddammit! :D
