Veggie growing

Thought it might be fun, it's not difficult. Do not however think you're going to do it instead of buying more at the market or supermarket.

Also do not think you're going to do it without some form of pesticide.

I've been growing for the last 4 years or so, and I have never used pesticides.

There are methods you can use such as companion planting where certain plants, when grown alongside each other, reduce pests.

Although we do still buy some veggies from the supermarket, an increasing proportion comes from our garden.

I have a smallish garden so for now I just grow herbs we use for cooking ie. coriander, parsley, thyme , dill, rosemary, mint, basil and origanum.

I also started growing chili peppers on a small scale. I have jalapeno, ghost pepper (red and yellow), thai chili, trinidad scorpion, chocolate bell, habanero (red & yellow)......and a few others I cant recall now. Need to get a Carolina Reaper plant.
