Vehicle finance within probation period

HI,

I'm in desperate need of a new car, but have only been at my current job for 2months, within a probation period. Is it possible to get vehicle finance? Or would it be worth my while to just wait it out until the probation period is over (interest rates etc)?

You'll probably need salary slips for 3 months, so I doubt it. I guess you could try anyway though.

The banks will ask for 3 months salary slips and 3 months bank statements to see your profile. A letter stating that you have permanent employment @Rx/month will also help provided it ties in with the bank statement.

Interest rates aren't going anywhere at the moment unless the rand suddenly strengthens to below R6.50 to the US$, so don't let that slow you down.

I bought a car easily(350z) with just my employment letter, didn't even have my first salary slip yet, just bank statements, no hassles, no questions explained my situation and it all went through fine.

Thanks dudes, I guess its just easier to hold out until my probation period is up then, 3 months with the same salary deposit. Hopefully my car keeps itself together.
