Best thing you can do..

You gave him advice, tried to help, and he still managed to get himself into a horrible position... nothing you can do, and save yourself the pain and such and just walk away.

Probably the hardest thing I've done in my life to be honest. To know you can help someone, and walk away knowing that the next few years of his life is damned is a terrible feeling. But, what can you do....

Car was sold under the "surrender program" from Wesbank for 135k....

Lol, I actually had a few private buyers for up to 190k. In actual fact, Contemplated buying it myself, but I didn't want to keep the car in the family.
