I have 2 vehicles I want to sell to replace with 2 new vehicle but am unsure as to the values for which I can advertise them.

1. 2011 VW Tiguan 2.0 tdi bluemotion (pre facelift)
145 000km
FSH
Leather
Moon roof
Retractable towing hook
PDC
Cruise control
7 inch toucscreen radio
4 Minor "parking lot" marks

Second vehicle is;
2010 Silver Ford Figo 1.4 Ambiente
75000km
FSH
Aircon
Central locking
Minor chip on bonnet.

I know it depends on tyres, condition of body etc but I would just like to start making calculations so just looking for fair estimates that I might sell it for.

Thanks.

webuycars.co.za does free quotes.

I have used them to get the value of the car I want to buy so I can come in slighty over them with the seller. ;)

The best way to get a value on your vehicles would be to check out Cars.co.za and compare the prices advertised there. You will know the condition of your vehicles better and then be able to set a price for each. I would certainly have been interested in your Figo, Financially it ain't going to happen. Good luck in selling your vehicles.

Selling out of hand probably around R80k or so on the Figo. The Tiguan should fetch somewhere around the R180k mark if it's one of the 4motion derivatives. Not on trade-in, obviously.

What are you looking to replace them with?

Thanks for the suggestion, will try it out.

Same as above, thanks, will also try it

Thanks, will check some sites and get an estimate. The tiguan is unfortunately not 4motion. The dealer wants to give me R50k for the figo and R110k for the Tiguan.

I will be replacing it with a Eco Sport and perhaps a Ranger.

But those are the selling prices, trade in price is better because then you can actually work with a figure that 99% of st/d/ealers give you.

Thanks for the info, appreciate. Is those prices according to their km also or just a rough estimate regarding average prices for those vehicles?

That will be the average. You will either add or subtract based on the condition and mileage.

Out of hand then closer to the R130k mark on the Tiguan. Your offer on the VW is decent, but if the Figo is in good shape you're being low balled a bit. Newish small cars are selling for way over book in the current market.

If you come to your senses and decide to go VW rather than Ford, let me know.

I would have loved to get a Amarok but unfortunately way out of my price range but thanks.
