Once again at the request of gamers, not only because of Trials, but the hype of rAge has allowed me not to cancel the September event, but rather just shift it by 1 week. This will also allow those willing to participate in both Durban LANS to have a weekend break and attend both without pushing too many time constraints.
Goods news is, we wont be changing much from our side, besides the fact we have some new sponsors onboard ! :>
IPEG will be attending our LAN to hand our their promotional CDs.
These CD's include all sorts of reviews/patches/games, and best of all, connects you to the internet using IPEG!!
Also, we have WWE Magazine, (Read the news bulletin here) they will be handing out their latest editions of this new magazine that just hit SA's shores. Anyone who is interested in Wrestling, this is a MUST.
Rectron will once again be having a stand at the event so you guys can purchase the latest and greatest stuff and the most awesome prices, and they will have their usual give aways!
We managed to fix our 1.3 TB DC++ Server, so you should be seeing a return of this. Its been long missed since last year.
We have also decided to add CSS back on to the list, as BOTC online seems to be doing really well. Our prize pool for this event, will be starting at R1000 + free entrance to the next V for 1st place.
In adjacent to this, our main focus will be the CoD 4 Tournament, that could be seeing the winner having their trip to rAge sponsored by Vendetta !
On top of this FFA tourney, we will still run the standard CoD 4 tourney, with also the prize pool starting at R1000.
Once again we will be using the networking equipment sponsored by GijimaAST and Comztek worth over R100 000!!
This equipment supplies each and every single user with a full gigabit connection at absolutely no extra cost.
The network is designed for gamers by Gamers!
