Never been disappointed with them.

Nice, What venison do you want to use for the potjie?

Kudu. Not sure what cut to use cause this will be my first time. Maybe should phone my dad he should know the different cuts and stuff

Try and get some shins and neck. But let them pre-cut the meat for potjie meat specifically. If they have some shortrib you can add them as well.

Not a fan of kudu. did a springbok potjie last year, my advise would be to add some lamb to the pot, game meat is quite lean. I recently had gemsbok, was very nice, gemsbok is a grazer like a springbok. Kudus prefer leaves. So very different taste, we are used to beef and a cow is a grazer, so I guess that's why I prefer springbok to Kudu.
The best game meat in my opinion is a worthog roast, and no, it does not taste like pork.

Probably the best Butchery on the East Rand, that place is packed on the weekends.
