Ventrilo program not working with MTN 3G

Hey guys, I've been using Vodacom for a long time for internet and over the past year its become terrible to use, so switched to MTN and its been working ok, the only problem is i cant seem to open the voice chat program Vent, its stuck on "contacting server" put in vodacom sim card and it works again..

anybody have any idea what the problem could be?

Dont know the details of the application. But one possible cause may be the server is setting up a connection back to the UE. Connections from external into the 3G network is not allowed. Try using the unrestricted APN (MTNVPN - u will need to be provisioned on this)
