Hi there people

I am looking for some info from anyone who has gotten a big speeding fine on the highway when I mean big I mean your speed was well over 200km/h

I would just like to know the cost of your fine and the process u went through in court I got arrested last night for speeding :eek:

you should be paying around R10k depending what speed you were doing ... so im sure we will see you in the papers tomorrow ... good luck with court and jail ...
 
doubt it would be in tha papers i got cought at 12:30 am this morning
 
Lawyers fees if there is a r&n charge are going to be a killer too.
 
What speed?
What was the limit where you were trapped?
Where you drunk?
What car?
If you where arrested are you out on bail?

My dad got caught at 208 in warden, had to pay R1000 bail and a court date was set. Ultimate fine was R24000 payable in installments or at once.
 
speed was 225km/h
speed lmit 120km/h
no hell will never drink and do that speed
car Nissan 350Z
out after R1000 bail

R24000 maybe the time i was cought can count in my favour a bit
 
no dude nothing will count in your favour

u drive an expensive car, does not sound like 24k will hurt you much :)
 
but at night there is also no other cars on the road, well there where no other cars on the highway i was on, but now that i think about it u probably right speeding stays speeding and against the law so u probably right, 24k is still alot of money killadoob

monday morn im sure you will be if it was over 200 ...

EDIT: 225km/h .... damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... u will for sure be in the papers!!! ... the fine is the least of your worries, its jail ... wait, if you did get caught at this speed you wont be posting, youd be in jail right now!!!!!!!! did you get arrested and so the whole jail thing???

^^^ !?? ... so did you get caught at 225km/h or not ... cause at that speed youd be arrested immediately no questions asked
 
yes i was arrested on the spot and was taken to the police station where i was charged for speeding out after R1000 bail

How did they stop you by the way? Did they run out in the road with a torch and flag you down or chase with blue lights blazing and guns drawn?
