So 2 weeks ago i went and signed up for a 2mb uncapped adsl line with telkom,installation was done within a week but thats where all the fun ended,since the line was installed on monday the internet is very slow,browsing pages takes ages and i can't stream anything,before this i had a 3G router with the 10GB+ 10GB night surfer 8ta sim which works perfect but the data wasn't just enough,i called telkom twice and they reset my port but nothing changes,now they say a tech is going to come and have a look..i also signed up for the afrihost free 1GB just to test and still got the same results,now i have resorted back to my 3G router as i cant handle such slow speeds,when the line was installed the technician told me the max speed it can handle is 4MB,should i upgrade to that or is there any way to make the 2MB work,maybe on a different package because this is shocking.
I had a 512kb line in 2009 in another place and it just feels like its the same speed.
