VHS to Digital Recorder

Hi folks,

Any recommendations for devices to record VHS tapes to digital ? Obviously good quality audio and video is a must, (depending on the quality of the tapes) however people also talk about dropped frame rates, and so on, but that stuff goes way over my head. I just want something that gives good results.

There are so many products out there, and when I get recommended something, it seems other people don't think it's a good product (according to reviews).

I had one similiar to this, but it did not do the job, and returned it.

I used my old VCR connected to a Hauppauge capture card. Worked well!

I have two newer models, that I know for a fact you can record VHS onto DVD. I have no idea what condition they are in been a few years since last use, so likely need a service.

Either way this is the best and uncomplicated route to rake honestly
