VIA Onboard Sound..

I have a problem with my onboard sound on my motherboard. Music on Windows Media Player only plays through the front 2 speakers on my 5.1 Logitech x530?! However movies seem to play though which I don't understand why music doesn't.

Please is there anyone out there that have more or less the same motherboard I do and uses the onboard sound with surround speakers, do you have the same problem also? I have ticked the stupid Speaker fill button but nothing happens.

I've tried Winamp I don't like it as much as WMP, I've put everything back the way it was, thanks for all your help.

Did you see the Screenshot I posted NomNom? What happens if you select your Onboard and then test it?
Also, don't look past the software I suggested. You will be Amazed at the Quality it brings to your 5.1 setup.

How many channels is your onboard sound? Via is pretty ancient. Like back in the day of stereo only ancient

I never liked WMP, because every version I tried, would freeze for several seconds after I started it....
Winamp works for me... but sucks it doesn't have the skip file checkbox that iTunes does.
