Yea, that is the bit I'm not thrilled about. I think the 800mHz CPU is a reason to not go to far up the release chain with Android.

i like the vga. if i went the R-pi route it would be a mission because i dont have an hdmi capable screen,or tv.

Personally I'm not all that enamoured with Android, it will be converted to Linux when it gets into my grubby little paws.

The Pi was not touted to run Android... it runs Linux.

Anyway, I've already ordered my Raspberry Pi... and will be ordering one of these as well.
