Vibecoding: a beginner's guide

Vibe coding is not fit for building proper enterprise systems. It should only be used for quick POC projects. The important skill to learn is spec driven development like GitHub Spec Kit.

Took Claude about an hour to do this today. Controlling Rpi via WebUI. Created a test output and tested on LED.

Friends, countrymen... I am a Claude convert. After purchasing my Claude Pro subscription, it has been but a week and mine life has been transformed ... nay ... enhanced!

Ok real talk, this is damn impressive. Claude has rebuilt two PowerPoints for my job, consolidated an Excel document also for my work, created three marketing elements for my personal website, and calmly just coded not only an entire component for my website that I've been dreaming about for years, but did it far better than I ever could have ... AND fixed some security flaws on my site and built an entire user error fault reporting and device testing component that walks people through some tests and then allows them to submit a report which appears in a Wordpress plugin that Claude ALSO wrote tonight along with everything else.

I'm gonna have some fun playing with this new component this weekend, that's all I'm gonna say.

And here's the bigger issue with vibecoding: when is one ever DONE? I mean you can create tools as easily as it takes to just think them, and if you've already got a Wordpress environment set up then you can immediately deploy that to the world.
