Vibration after 2 new tires fitted

So I had 2 new tires fitting recently. Went on the highway this past weekend and found that the car started vibrating when doing between 100 - 105km/hr. It was mostly on the steering wheel. Took the car back to them and stood by while they were rebalancing the 2 tires as this will normally solve the issue. However, I took the car on the highway again and found that the vibration is much better but can still feel the car vibrating. Not the steering wheel so much but the front of the car. Just called them and taking the car back again tomorrow. They said they are going to put the tires that is in front at the back and visa versa. I never had this problem before but they say that it sometimes happens that as he said - "happens to 1 out of 20 customers. I don't have much hope, but let's see if they can sort this out.
 
No, it's an old car. Corsa sport 2003 model but giving exceptional service. Very happy with it.

They checked to see if the wheels were buckled. According to them it's not buckled.

I have always taken my vehicle to Supa Quick with no problems at all. Someone told me about a special at Good Hope tyres. So I went there just for the special, but sorry to say their service is not up to standard and not something I'm used too as with Supa Quick. The receptionist is also not very friendly and their overall professionalism is poor. I'll never go there again. Going back to Supa Quick in Brackenfell.
 
Well it was a special. Don't now the brand but probably is.

Balancing was done twice and according to them it was balanced a 100%.

I can tell you from experience that Goodhope tyres are generally poor with their customer service. I don't have enough fingers to count the amount of times I had to go back because of this or that. I gave up hope doing alignment at any of their branches since they can never get it right. Only place that can get the alignment 100% is Hyundai itself (a bit expensive but worth it). Perhaps just buy the tyres from Goodhope next time and take it to Supa Quick for fitting and balancing. Will save you a bunch of headaches and back n forth.

did few sets of tyres by them over the years and never had issues

the last time i even went there for alignment and they did everything nad they like na its fine doesnt need alignment

free and you can leave

What do they say. Stick to what you know and in this case Supa Quick. Excellent service, professional and friendly staff.

Take it to TWT. They'll tell you that your entire suspension is fscked.
 
yes, swapping to the back might make it less obvious, but what happens in a few months time when you do a recommended tyre rotation and they end up in the front with the same issue .... by then they don't want to know about your problem :unsure:

Nip it in the butt now ... try new set ?

ps: let me guess, it's the Sava brand ?

:ROFL: always thought the same, but my local TWT has given me good service at normal prices so far, shopped around for a new set of tyres and they ended up supplying the OEM tyres slightly cheaper than anyone else could offer even when looking at alternative brands

(Yokohama fwiw, but I had pricing for Goodyear, Dunlop, Conti etc from others as well)

when some muppet crashed into me I went to them as well, they put the car on the lift and showed me the steering arm damage, no charge, no pressure to have them fix anything
