video cameras

hi guys would once again appreciate your advice to purchase a video camera.
nothing to expensive ot fancy mainly for home use but something with a 30gb or 40gb hard drive, image stabiliser, good picture quality and good zoom facility, price range between R5000 - R6000. also as to where i can locate it in durban.

your advice would be greatly appreciated

You should be able to get the same models at Photoworld, Govan Mani, Kay Makan, Simplex (@uShaka), and a limited range at Makro and Game (or Games if you're from durbs).

Alternatively Canon make some models (but they're all HD AFAIK and out of your price range), as do JVC. I'm not a big fan of JVC's local service tho'.

have settled for the sony Hard Disk Drive - DCR-SR46E awsome beauty got it at govan mani for R4499.oo with a carry bag seems to be awsome.
