Video Card Nightmares

I just bought myself an FX 5200 (not for gaming)
I installed the software and everything loks find.

I connected my TV and want to watch movies, but I got 2 problems.

Setting 1:

Clone
There is a view of the movie on the pc but not on the TV.
VLC is pitch black, but the desktop is showing.

Setting 2:

Dual View
There is a picture of movie on my TV but the colour is RED. Normal picture/photos is okay. So not a colour adjustment.

Where I can start looking for the problem?

I tried VLC Player and Windows Media Player, same problem.

ok do this download latest drivers,97.43 i think,then force card to seach tv,
make sure that the tv colour system is pal b for south africa ok.clone image view
check that 256 colour pallette is active ,What i do is i just play around withthe settings rom the dual view.
and dont forget to tick the box that says in the nvidia panel show full screen.

I do have the answer for you as i had that problem last night.(i tried to connect another pc to my pci composite port on my tv card.In the end we sorted the prob out.
