i have the mVix PVR. So far so good. It does not play all the file types I would like. But if you stream from a PC, it has an application (FTS) that recodes as it streams. So it does cover a lot codecs. If all else fail I just recode the file with a converter application (xilisoft or the likes). Playback is smooth, supports 1080 via HDMI (only 720 via FTS). Nice little addition to my home entertainment system.
