Viewing MMS with modem

I would like to know, if someone sends you an mms to the sim that Im using in my modem, is it possible to watch the mms without having to put the sim into a phone?

Im using cell c, I know it is possible with vodacom

No Afaik; but you can disconnect from being used by the data software and get something like Now SMS. Then you'll be able to receive the SMS. Everything on that app is automatic btw.

Thanks for the advice with the nowSMS, it is a handy program. I just have a problem with the settings for the mms:

GPRS APN:
APN Login Name:
APN Password:
WAP Gateway Address:
MMS Server URL:

Can anyone help

I think. Note: Caps lock are relevent. After that test your connection.
