Viewing NeoBroadband data usage

So far I have been very impressed with the Neotel BroadBand service. One week from order to installation and a solid connection since then. This is a huge difference compared to my Telkom ADSL line, which would lose sync several times during the day.

The one question I do have is how do I view the data usage on my Neotel account? The account is an "uncapped" account with a generous FUP (which I'll probably never reach), but I would still like to see my usage stats from time to time. Logging into the Neotel customer portal doesn't help as there is no option there to view data usage.

Any suggestions from the current Neotel BroadBand users?

Woodie,

You need to register on the neotel www. Steps as follows:

select "my account" (top right), new submenu will give "login" & "Enterprise or Consumer register". Register first, then login. Normally, you are consumer.

After login, click on "Unbilled Usage" on left hand side menu. Then select from the next dropdown menu, your service number. If you have more than one service, they will all appear there. This number will be you service number, not your account number.

Then select "Data" from the 2nd dropdown menu, and lastly "View Data". A list, split into pages, then appears.

What I have not been able to figure out is how the table is generated, as more then one entry can appear with the same date. some days are skipped, so it's not daily either.

Also, you will receive your statement via e-mail. you can get them manually via the Statement (just under "Unbilled Usage", and you can select the pdf you want. As a new customer, you will only see the first one after the first month end appear here. Inside the pdf is the same usage as per unbilled usage.

Hope this helps!
