Just finished season 2, great season compared to season 1 and I love how the story is fast paced BUT
After watching the last episode last night (where we all assume Lhoki is gonna betray Ragnar), there's a few scenes that had me a bit confused,or maybe I just missed something.
1st scene is where Rollo is laying in bed and then Lhoki comes in and shoves mushrooms down his throat, which made us assume he was being poisined, and I mean he gave this to the other viking to which faked his death, so now my question is why put this scene in if no one was around him at the time with Rolo to witness "he was going to kill Rolo", was it just for the viewer or what.
2nd scene, why was Lhoki watching watching Ragnar's son and the slave getting it on if he had no intentions of killing him, he pulled out his knife while watching as if he had the intentions of killing him, again this didn't make sense to me.
3rd scene, towards the end when the King decided to invade Ragnar's town, Ragnar's son was walking down the street, then out came Lhoki from the shadow holding his axe in the air looking ready to strike Ragnar's son from the back, but look like he couldn't because an enemy unexpectedly came from the side to what Ragnars son reacted and then saw Lhoki, and once again this didn't make sense to me.
Yes was a nice feeling that no one was betraying Ragnar when the end of the show came, but I feel they went a bit overboard trying to make us as viewers believe he was being betrayed, that at the end of the show I was just like the things that happened showed signs he was being betrayed, unless I am missing something or unless there is actually something more to this that will follow into season 3.
