Villa Italia ADSL?

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to get ADSL in Villa Italia in Century City, Cape Town.

Telkom allowed me to order it, but said that they have to install it on the outside of the building and that Smart Village would then bring the connection in to my flat.

I spoke to Smart Village and they said that I should order it through them and not Telkom.

I really don't want to use Smart Village. I like having control over my line and my accounts. I use multiple ISPs depending on what I need.

Does anyone here have ADSL in Villa Italia, if so, how did you get it?

I had. Block 4, 10 and 19. It's tedious to do but possible. What block are you in?

Be warned you will be liable for SmartVillage's standard installation fee which is +/-R700. Wanna proceed?

How did this work out for you in the end? My 8ta contract expires soon and looking at smart village or adsl if possible. Thanks.

I've never had a line not installed. I did it for myself and friends. What block are you in?
