For me the Spectrum's colour clash is what gave it a certain character, because developers where inventive to try to work around it. But for me it's coming from a nostalgia perspective. That doesn't mean that I'm against enhancement, there are some games that could do with a speedup and I appreciate attempts at fixing flaws with controls.

If you change a game too much it just feels like it was released for a console and loses that Speccy charm. I respect the guys work though.
