Do they have 3G or HSDPA at all?
cause im selling a vodafone HSDPA modem,
if the do have 3G or HSDPA, will the Huawei E220 work with it?

No

It should work as long as the E220 can do GPRS and EDGE (faster). You may experience a little difficulty in setting it up. There have been some anomolies with different SIM cards, but nothing that can't be solved.

I wonder what their speed would be if they had 3g? Maybe like MTN's edge?:D

Well even MTN GPRS is quite speedy - well it was a while ago and when it isn't too busy. Virgin's GPRS is an abortion.

These wireless technology's ain't that bad. Even GPRS is faster than dailup in most cases. It all depends on your Signal Strength and Signal Quality.

Normal GPRS is more than enuff to Chat on IRC, or MSN,ICQ etc.etc , Surf the web, emails etc.etc

3G is simply GPRS but faster @ around 384kbps speeds (at full signal)

HSDPA is simply 3G's bigger uncle starting at around 1800kbps +- upto the newest 7200kbps +- :>>>
